Summer Bear Community Involvement

Summer Bear joined with the Utah Valley Chapter of the Sierra Club and hiked up to beautiful Diamond Fork Hot Springs and bagged 5 trash sacks full of junk.

After lunch and a refreshing soak in some delightfully cool pools (the springs have both hot and cool pools, and it was about 96˚ in the shade), we hiked back the 2.25 miles to the trailhead before carpooling it to Spanish Fork.

We enjoyed helping out at the hot springs so much that we went on a hike to Crying Rocks up Spanish Fork River and bagged two bags of trash.

Summer Bear found Dr. Day’s D.O.C. Walk (diabetes, obesity, and cardiology) and joined them for a walk around the park. This walk is done on the 4th Saturday every month and well worth the time and your health to walk and move.
